Restaurant information: A casual dining restaurant serving katsu cuisine. Specialise in Tonkastu (pork). The menu is in Japanese though they have pictures so easy to point to what you want to order. In the front window they also have the plastic models of the different food they serve. They serve a selection of beer and Japanese sake.

How to get there: Take the east exit from Shinjuku Station. Enter Kabuki-cho under the gates pictured below. Walk down this street (Kabuki-dori) around 60 meters and the restaurant is on the left on the corner of the first street that goes to the left. Review submitted 26th February 2011 - by Scott from Sydney Australia This feels like the equivalent of a Japanese McDonald's, just a very casual restaurant though the tonkatsu if fantastic and very reasonably priced. The food comes out quickly and the staff are friendly though do not speak English. Have you dined at Tonkatsu Niimura Restaurant Kabuki-cho Shinjuku Tokyo? ADD COMMENT |
